Sheryl Cardwell: Sheryl joined Waterloo Primary Academy Blackpool in 2012 as Business Manager and successfully guided the school through its academy conversion process. Sheryl is highly skilled in financial management, HR, Health & Safety, procurement and contract management. She has completed her CSBM, DSBM and her BA Hons in Business Management (2013).
John Cassels: John is a Partner of an international law firm, Fieldfisher, based in the City of London. He specialises in UK and European competition law and regulatory risk. He has a First Class Honours Degree in Law from the University of Glasgow and a Masters in Law and Economics (Distinction) from the University of Rotterdam. He brings expertise in business, finance, data handling and governance.
Lynn Churchman OBE: Lynn is a leading educationalist who has spent her professional life working in mathematics education. She is currently Schools Improvement Director for a training organisation in the field, National Maths Partnership [NMP], following advisory and inspection roles with two contrasting LAs and national roles as Principal Manager of the Mathematics team at QCA and as Lead HMI for Mathematics with Ofsted. Lynn is a Trustee of the Lime Trust.
Lisa Collison: Lisa is an experienced HR professional with extensive private, academy, MAT and public sector experience, including recently Strictly Education, E-Act Academy Chain and LB Waltham Forest. She is an experienced Governor of both primary and secondary schools.
Mark Gray: Mark is the Principal of Waterloo Primary Academy, a large stand-alone primary academy in a very deprived area in Blackpool [Ofsted February 2014: ‘the headteacher provides highly effective, inspirational leadership for the school’]. Mark has been a headteacher since 1994 and is now in his fifth headship, two of which were in New Zealand. He currently chairs his LA’s Schools Steering Group.
