John Cassels:   John is a Partner of an international law firm, Fieldfisher, based in the City of London. He specialises in UK and European competition law and regulatory risk. He has a First Class Honours Degree in Law from the University of Glasgow and a Masters in Law and Economics (Distinction) from the University of Rotterdam. He brings expertise in business, finance, data handling and governance.

Lynn Churchman OBE: Lynn Churchman OBE is a Trustee and Member of our Trust. Lynn Churchman OBE has been Specialist Subject HMI for mathematics with Ofsted and Manager of the mathematics team at QCA, responsible for the primary mathematics curriculum and test development. She is passionate about mathematics and the capacity of primary pupils to learn it successfully.

Lynn is now Director of the National Mathematics Partnership and dedicates her time to working with schools on raising achievement in mathematics and primary school improvement through mathematics. She is also the series editor for the ‘Problem-solving’ and ‘Number & Calculation’ school-improvement Pathways on Oxford Owl.

Chris Cole:  A headteacher for ten years, Chris is a winner of many awards including Education Champion of the Year, Windrush 2003, and UBS – Teacher of the Year 2007. He has taught on the Institute of Education’s course Investing in Diversity, training and supporting Headteachers. He has worked with over 300 schools working with all designations (governors, staff and other agencies), developing learning strategies, raising attainment and preparing for inspections. He has lead and facilitated in the raising of attainment to high levels in KS1 and KS2. He has helped to raised finance for schools and has managed capital works in various institutions.

Amanda Daoud: Chief Operating Officer and Trustee. Amanda joined Larkswood as School Business Manager in 2012.  For fifteen years she was Head of External Funding for the London Borough of Waltham Forest where she managed the large-scale (£20m per annum) Standards Fund Programme.  She was a member of Local Authority’s strategic School Improvement Group from 2008-2012. Amanda has a proven track record of managing major contracts and projects.  She is highly experienced in school finance, procurement, contract management, and project management.  Amanda is a qualified project manager (Prince2 Practitioner, qualified March 2012). She is one of just over 400 people nationally to have completed the Advanced Diploma in School Business Management (ADSBM) from the NCTL in 2014 which focused on enabling learning, managing school performance, understanding leadership, transforming organisations, managing strategic finances and managing programmes.

Natasha Graham: Natasha is an experienced school governor.  With a degree in Arts Management, she holds the post of Executive Director in a theatre company that works with disabled and non-disabled actors, using the arts as a tool for social engagement for disadvantaged adults and children. She brings her executive and charity experience to the Trust: business and entrepreneurial skills, brokering partnerships, financial management, board governance.

Lynne Harrowell: Chief Executive and Trustee, The Lime Trust. Lynne has worked as a teacher in two secondary schools, secondary special and primary schools. She is a highly experienced headteacher who joined Larkswood Primary School in September 2011, her fourth headship in a seventeen year period, all in challenging inner-city areas in London and Blackpool. Her leadership has been praised repeatedly by Ofsted. Lynne is a Local Leader of Education.  She has also completed the pilot NCSL Primary Executive Headship programme and mentored through the Associate Headteacher Programme. She and the team she leads have been providing recent management support and interim leadership to a number of local maintained schools and a Free School. Lynne will retain her role as Executive Headteacher at Larkswood.

Marcus Orlovsky: Marcus trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross, later rising to become Managing Director at Ernst & Young. He held the post of Project Finance Director at Stanhope Properties, which developed Broadgate and Stockley Park business park. From 1999 to the present he has been the Director of Bryanston Square. He has visited schools and colleges in over 50 countries and gives his time pro bono as an inspirational speaker. He has visited Larkswood Academy on several occasions.
